Broken safety seal and poor customer response
I had a very disappointing experience with Nutriessential. First, my order took a long time to ship. After waiting over a week just for it to be sent, the delivery process was already slower than expected. When the package finally arrived, I discovered that one of the bottles had its inner safety seal broken and opened, and two bottles were missing the plastic exterior seal around the lid entirely. The seal also had strange markings, which made me very uncomfortable about the product’s safety. I contacted the company and provided photos. Instead of addressing the issue properly, they suggested that customs inspectors may have opened the bottle. However, I contacted Canadian customs (CBSA) and they explained that when they inspect packages they reseal them with yellow inspection tape. My package had no inspection tape at all, meaning it was never opened by customs. In other words, the product appears to have been shipped with compromised seals directly from the company. This is extremely concerning when dealing with health supplements that people consume. Product integrity and safety seals are basic quality control standards. Despite explaining this and providing evidence, the company did not take responsibility for sending a compromised product. Because of the long shipping delay, broken safety seals, and poor customer support, I cannot recommend ordering from this company. UPDATE: The image that was shared showing the customs seal is an example one I received from customs. It is NOT of the package I was sent. Furthermore, I attached this example picture to the email I sent Nutriessential, and they DID NOT respond. I have the emails to prove it. They never addressed it.
