Pleasantly surprised
I was pleasantly surprised by my experience given the overwhelmingly negative reviews on TrustPilot, which left me with very low expectations. The flight (nonstop Brisbane to Bali) took off on time, the plane was clean, the cabin staff was friendly and prompt when you rang the bell, and I didn’t have any issues with my booking (which was booked through my credit card reward system with points). It is still a budget airline though so it is good to set your expectations. They are strict with the carry-on weight restrictions (7kg for economy class) and they do not give anything for free on board, not even water. They also seem to have limited customer service avenue so thankfully I didn’t have any need for that because I imagine it would be frustrating.
