Anyvideoconverter works (important for a freeware)
Any-video-converter works. This is important as some programs that are "free" don't actually work. Figuring out how to use the program to record from a video playing on your computer screen takes a little time, and I was initially confused about whether I needed to get an upgrade to record a video longer than 3 minutes and also about where on my computer the recording winds up but ultimately I got things to work for my purposes. I recommend the program. I suspect the pro version is worth the money and I'll write a review of it if I try it and like it.
