Complex, uncertain and slow - such a shame
By comparison with typical online marketplaces, Zenmarket is a relatively complex, slow and uncertain experience. Having to pay for items before Zenmarket commits to send them left me with a problem with one item which it turned out could not be shipped to the UK - although there was no indication of that when I purchased. Zenmarket would not accept responsibility for any refund and I was forced to have the item be disposed of without compensation - fortunately it was not an expensive item, but it makes me very concerned about any future purchases. The Helpdesk was polite throughout, but ultimately insisted that I should have researched the item to know it could not be shipped - this just isn't customer friendly or even possible in many cases. Also, the whole process takes weeks from purchase to receipt of the products. I wouldn't use Zenmarket again unless it is the only way to buy something from Japan that I really need.
