Warning! Potential battery explosion.
I was happy with my Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro—until the battery swelled and caused the phone to split open. This is a known and dangerous defect. I contacted Xiaomi Global Support, expecting them to take safety seriously. Instead, I received a copy-paste response saying they would not help because I bought the phone through eBay and not through an “authorized regional dealer.” This is unacceptable for a global brand selling products internationally, especially when it involves hardware failure with potential fire risk. Xiaomi refuses to take responsibility even when the issue is clearly a manufacturing defect. I have video evidence showing the damage and the model info. I expected better.
