I installed a sph10000tl-hu-us in mid November, and the system ran great. Then on or about Dec. 9th the inverter started throwing out fault codes randomly. (e.g. over battery current, estop pushed, buss error. Then it de sided to shutdown. After rebooting it, it started up and ran great.Then it did this again a couple more times. I called Growatt (12/9/24) and they downloaded new firmware. The inverter again ran for about a month with zero problems. Then on 1/9/25 it started to limit the battery output to 60% and showed random charting on the shine software. The math was all wrong in the charts. The funny thing is, I had a second one on order, I have since canceled the one on order, pending the outcome of these problems. I am sure that these problems are software related. I had one problem to start out with, now they have been resolved and I have a whole new set of problems. My big thing is I can't understand in both cases the inverter worked for about 4-6 weeks before having problems. I may end up scraping this 3 month inverter for two of something else. Thanks for your response. The only problem is that I wrote this on 1/19/25, your response came on 2/14/25. Moreover You are just now sending it to your team in China. Your US Team is useless. I am sorry but I don't call this customer service, when it take this kind of time to resolve a problem. After fighting problems with your inverter, I ended up scraping a 3 month old, $3000.00 inverter. I purchased a EG4 Flexboss21. I installed it set up all the settings, it started right up and haven't had a problem with it. Would you like a used inverter back for $3000.00? The ten year warranty means nothing when you can't get help. Very unsatisfied Customer
