Do not trust Smith AI they have every intention of stealing your money
Due to circumstances within the company, we have decided not to use that Smith.AI. We are a small business who has served our community with integrity and good faith. And we were looking at options that would help us grow. Initially Smith AI was cordial and responsive. They required a upfront payment at $2500 for a six month contract which we consider considered a short-term contract. We were assured that we would be happy with the service. Unfortunately, things within the company changed and we requested to cancel our contract. We offered the first month and requested the five additional months refunded. After two attempts via email to try to get our refund, this was their response. Hi Dean, I hope this email finds you well. I'm sorry to hear that the owners decided not to move forward with the AI Receptionist, and I’d really appreciate the opportunity to better understand what led to that decision. Regarding your request to cancel and refund the remaining months, because the account is on a long-term plan, our policy does not allow us to cancel the agreement early or refund the unused portion of the contract. The account will remain available through the end of the contracted term or until the included calls have been used. You must understand we never set up the system. We never used it for one day. We do realize that they put some time in and we're willing to forfeit one month worth of funds in good faith. When I responded in an email that we may be returning this over to attorneys for collection and writing a public review I was met with an email that stated they would give it to their supervisors. To date there has been no refund. We have never used their service. And I would highly recommend that nobody no small company no large company consider using them based on their theft. They do not offer a monthly option to start. You must pay $2500. It's the shortest contract. They have yet when you ask for a refund, they will tell you it is a long-term contract. Beware of the thieves do not trust this company. And do not part with your hard earned money for such deceptive practices.
