This isn't a lost package story
This isn't a lost package story. This is a story about a package that was out for delivery at 6:45 AM this morning on a guaranteed 7–11 AM overnight window — and somehow never made it to my door. It rode around on a driver's truck all day and got returned to the Fort Worth Amazon facility. My app? Useless. All it ever said was "expected delivery between 7 AM–11 AM." No updates. No alerts. No explanation. I had to call customer service just to find out what happened. Rep "Jay" told me it was returned to the facility — but couldn't tell me why, couldn't guarantee delivery tomorrow, and couldn't get me to a supervisor who could answer those questions. This is the third time this has happened on a paid overnight delivery. The package isn't lost — it shows up eventually. So something is clearly broken in the execution, and Amazon's customer service has zero visibility into what it is or how to fix it in real time. All I want is my package tomorrow, 8/4/2026. A 10+ year Prime member shouldn't have to write a public post to get that confirmed. Amazon — someone with actual authority, please respond.
