A Seamless, Unforgettable Family Adventure in Japan: Ume Travel and Carrie!
Our family recently returned from a 9 day trip to Japan. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience working with Ume Travel and Carrie! From the initial planning stages to the actual implementation of our itinerary and the follow-up after returning home, the entire experience was exceptional. Planning the Trip Carrie worked with us to create a customized Japan itinerary that considered our family’s interests and the needs of our children. Traveling internationally with children ages 10 and 12, I wanted an experience that would be enjoyable for everyone, with a good balance of cultural activities, unique experiences, sightseeing, and fun. Carrie helped bring that vision to life and made the planning process feel manageable and personalized. The Experience in Japan The arrangements made through Ume Travel helped our trip run smoothly. We appreciated having private transportation and tour guides who communicated with us through WhatsApp, were punctual, and were helpful throughout our travels. Having those arrangements in place gave us peace of mind and allowed us to focus on enjoying Japan as a family. Some of our favorite experiences included visiting TeamLab, exploring Tokyo, enjoying the excitement of the anime arcades in Akihabara, traveling on the Shinkansen, and spending time in Kyoto. We also participated in a ramen and gyoza cooking class, which was a particularly memorable hands-on experience. My children absolutely loved Japan, and I especially enjoyed discovering Kyoto, a place I fell in love with during our visit. Working with Carrie After the Trip I also appreciate the importance of the experience beyond the planning and travel itself. Having the opportunity to reflect on our trip afterward reinforces how valuable it is to work with someone who helps create a personalized experience rather than simply booking hotels and activities. Our trip gave us wonderful family memories, meaningful cultural connections, and plenty of reasons to return to Japan. Would I Recommend Ume Travel? Absolutely! I would gladly work with Carrie and Ume Travel again. In fact, we are already thinking about our next international adventure! I am also interested in planning a future trip to Asia.
