EcoFlow

Great product when it works, terrible after-sales support

My experience with EcoFlow has been incredibly frustrating. I had an inverter and two batteries professionally installed, and for the first nine months the system worked brilliantly. I was genuinely impressed and would have happily recommended it. Then, in April 2026, one of the batteries failed. Since then, my system has been operating at only part of its intended capacity. I can no longer store as much cheap overnight electricity or harvest as much solar energy, significantly reducing the value of the investment I made. The most disappointing part isn't that a battery failed hardware can develop faults. It's the complete lack of urgency and accountability afterwards. Over the last several months I've sent multiple emails, spent hours in chat conversations, and repeatedly chased for updates. EcoFlow acknowledged early on that the battery requires replacement, yet here I am in July 2026, still without a working system. The latest explanation is simply that replacement batteries are out of stock. How can a company selling premium home energy systems not have replacement batteries available under warranty? Leaving customers waiting months with no meaningful resolution is simply unacceptable. A home energy system is a long-term investment, and the after-sales support is just as important as the hardware itself. Unfortunately, EcoFlow has failed badly in that regard. The product itself deserves praise when it's working, but the customer service experience has completely undermined my confidence in the company. Until EcoFlow demonstrates that it can support customers after the sale, I cannot recommend investing thousands of pounds in one of their systems.
