Urgent Appeal for Compassionate Cancellation Due to Medical Reason
Dear CHEAP SG Management, I am writing to make a sincere appeal regarding our recent request to cancel flight tickets purchased through your platform. Due to my father's sudden medical condition, we are unable to proceed with our travel plans. We have already submitted a medical memo from the attending doctor to support our case. However, we were informed that cancellation would still incur a high penalty fee. This places us in a very difficult position. We also reached out to T’way, who advised us that as the tickets were purchased through CHEAP SG, the cancellation must be handled by your team. Unfortunately, this back-and-forth has only added more stress during an already emotional time for our family. What troubles us most is that the penalty fee through CHEAP SG is significantly higher than what the airline itself would have charged if we had booked directly. We understand that there are policies in place, but we had hoped for some understanding and flexibility in light of a genuine medical emergency. We respectfully ask that you review our case once more and consider granting a waiver or significantly reducing the penalty, given the circumstances.
