Hexclad Frying Pan and Knife Review
I purchased the HexClad frying pan set about three years ago, and it has quickly become my favorite cookware. I use the two smaller pans almost daily for everything from meats and vegetables to eggs prepared in a variety of ways. They are extremely versatile. I can achieve a great sear on a steak while also cooking delicate foods like omelets and over-easy eggs with ease. Cleanup is simple and, in most cases, requires nothing more than hot water and a sponge. The pans have held up better than any other frying pans I've owned, despite being used almost daily for the past three years. I also purchased the HexClad paring knife and boning knife. Both have maintained their sharpness, perform well, and feel comfortable and well-balanced in hand during extended use. In fact, my experience with these knives has been so positive that I plan to eventually replace my current Japanese knife set with HexClad knives in the next few years. My existing set is beginning to show its age, with several handles starting to crack and deteriorate, while the HexClad knives continue to perform exceptionally well. More recently, my wife gifted me one of HexClad's larger pots, and it has performed exceptionally well every time I've used it. Based on my experience with both the cookware and knives, I look forward to eventually replacing the rest of my cookware with HexClad products as well. Overall, I've been extremely pleased with every HexClad product I've purchased. The performance, durability, and ease of maintenance have exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to continuing to build my kitchen around HexClad products in the future.
