EaseUS

On 4/2/2025 I ordered EaseUS in hopes it could help me recover a few lost image files. After scanning a smaller drive (Under 1tb) I was unable to find what I needed so I moved onto the larger 3TB drive I knew had the Images I seek. After taking 12hours to do a full scan on a 3tb drive the software popped up an error saying EaseUS experienced an issue and needed to shutdown. Rather annoying but maybe I could start off where it left off, NOPE, when the software crashes it dose not start back up from where it left off it starts from scratch so another another 12hr scan here we come. After a second 12hr search it did the same thing. I knew it was time for a refund as software that takes up this much time simply will not fly. After contacting EaseUS about the problem and asking for a refund I did not hear anything back so after three days I started a claim with PayPal to get a refund. On 5/15/25 I still had no reply to the case so I escalated the case with PayPal just to be shut down on the spot. So at this point I'm out 145.07 and still have software that is broken. Perhaps EaseUS can help so I contacted them once more explaining my problem and was told I could download an older version and see if that fixed it. Fine I thought so the software was downgraded as they asked and another 12hr scan started. What happened at 100% you ask? The same error popped up! At this point I had and have had enough. So I emailed back screenshots of the crash and asked for a refund once more. This is the reply I got. "Dear Customer, Thank you for your response. Your refund request has been noted. We are totally understand your situation. (Still no refund, my request has been "Noted" however) In order to further assist you in troubleshooting and resolving this issue, we would like to offer you a remote assistance session. Our support engineer will help you analysis the disk and check whether the lost files can be recovered manually. If it's convenient for you, please tell us your city & time zone. Then, we will arrange a remote session for you. We sincerely appreciate your time and cooperation." So now they would like to remote access my computer to help figure out the problem. That is not happening. So the point of all this is take cation before buying EaseUS Today is 4/17/2025 I have been asking for a refund since 4/4/2025. As of right now I am out 145.07 and still have software that will not work on large drives without crashing. My best advice before buying EaseUS is read the real reviews and not just the Hype. I wish I had.
