I had an extremely disappointing experience with CheapTickets.sg and the airline regarding a flight booking that I needed to cancel due to medical reasons. Despite providing all the necessary documentation, including a doctor’s certificate, to support my medical emergency, they refused to offer any flexibility or reduction in the cancellation fees. Not only did they charge cancellation fees that were higher than the price of the ticket itself, but they also refused to offer any exceptions, showing no compassion or basic understanding of the situation. The lack of willingness to help a customer in need—especially in a medical crisis—is appalling. Their customer service continuously insisted that these fees were “based on flight conditions,” without even considering the humanity of the situation. This is an extremely exploitative and heartless approach that completely disregards the well-being of their customers. I would not recommend this company to anyone and will be sharing this experience widely, as it’s important for others to understand how CheapTickets.sg treats their customers. Avoid booking with them if you expect any real customer support or fair
