We stayed at the Ibis
We stayed at the Ibis - Mt Waverley. The room was booked for my children and I. When we got to the hotel, they said it had been booked for two adults and that I needed to change the reservation on the app (how? Not even the staff knew how to do it). We wasted 20 minutes jumping through hoops for this pointless exercise. The room was SMALL. This is the fifth time we have travelled together in the last few months and besides being the most expensive hotel it was also the smallest. The mini-bar fridge had only a small carton of milk. There were no food or drinks inside. The two coffee cups on the micro table had been used and not washed or replaced prior to our arrival. The bathroom had soap and body wash but nothing else (unlike other hotels). There were no booklets explaining the hotel room features and policies. It was VERY bare bones. The restaurant was closed. I found out by asking a receptionist who laughed in a condescending fashion and said that nothing was available. I would have to go outside. Would I stay here again? Not a chance. It’s all show with little to offer.
