What happened? How does something great go so bad so fast.
I've purchased thousands of dollars of gift cards from this site and its predecessor, Raise, for years. In the last 6 months or so, the major retailers (Amazon, Target, etc.) % discount became almost nil. Understandable, but the hassle isn't worth it for .5% ($0.50 on a $100 gift card). I continued to buy others that were consistently around 10-11%, occasionally higher. Then something happened in the month of June. First it was the platform fee. So 10% became 9%. Then suddenly there is nothing above 5% anyway, and the only 5% ones are for nominal amounts making the savings less than $1.00, and then the platform fee gets added back. I can't figure out what the point is anymore. This used to be the best until June, but I'm leaving for now.
