Withholding Refund for Services I Never Received
I booked international tickets through Ovago for over $3,600. Due to an airline mistake, I was denied boarding not because of anything I did wrong. China Airlines later confirmed in writing that the No-Show penalty was waived and my tickets were refunded. Despite this, Ovago withheld $1,610.03, claiming fake airline penalties and refusing to refund add-on services (travel insurance, support bundle, flexible ticket) all of which I never used. I provided written proof from China Airlines confirming the penalty waiver, but Ovago ignored it and kept asking for more “official” confirmation. They stalled the process for over 7 months, shifted blame, and refused to take accountability. They also double-charged me a processing fee, despite my purchase of their Support Bundle, a deceptive and misleading practice. I’ve filed complaints with the BBB, CFPB, FTC, and Attorney General, and will continue warning others. Stay away from this company, they do not stand behind their service or customers.
