I will never ever again use Ovago

I will never ever again use Ovago. Avoid them like the plague. They have utterly destroyed my vacation and frankly, I don't believe that they actually booked any of my flights - their incompetence is astonishing. I have a complex set of flights to try to get to walk the Camino, and they have made errors for every single flight. First they put in that I need a wheelchair. WHAT!!!!! It took weeks to figure out that error but they did correct it. Then, they are unable to get me seats on any of the flights I paid for because they completely messed up confirmation codes; calling the airlines is no good because the airlines just point out that Ovago made all these mistakes. They booked one leg that actually leaves Chicago before i get to Chicago. They refuse to fix anything. I am a few days away from just throwing out the $2,000 they harged me and starting all over again and buying entirely new tickets because they are so utterly incompetent and have made such unbelievable errors. They are a scam.

Ovago did not honor their refund

Ovago did not honor their refund. They attempted it by using a credit refund on a debit card which inevitably came back to them. We've provided proof supported from our bank for 4 months going back and forth weekly and they consistently refuse to refund. Worse, at one point they made us literally send our entire transaction history to prove it and still denied it. It gets better. They stated what we sent was a "savings account" and because the funds settled on the 14th they stated that wasn't the transaction. So essentially they denied we submitted proof about the refund but declined to address the money that went to them out of savings with no transaction associated. Far from the only people to have refund issues. They use the same template messages over and over changing one or two sentences to just go down the rabbit hole until we decide to sue which we will be doing promptly.

Travel Round the world with ease

Ovago they don’t deserve even a star I booked a flight Chicago to Rome on Sunday without me knowing they change it to a Monday without emailing or calling nothing and they try to make it my fault the customer service it’s my fault they said, and they try to make me buy another tickets which was more expensive so now my flight is doubled the money worst experience ever

Booking agency to avoid.

Booking agency to avoid. I was traveling with my children and paid over $300 to reserve seats together so they could sit next to me. Ovago charged me for the seat reservations but never actually secured those seats with the airline. As a result, two of my children had to travel alone on two long flights, each lasting more than seven hours. Customer service made no real effort to resolve the situation and refused to refund the seat reservation fees. Absolutely shameful. I strongly recommend avoiding this company.

do not trust this online company, on line one price, than company calling back and telling, that because of shortage seat or something else on- price is going up to $800. In a few minutes later i went to JUstfly.com and booked tickets for the price what was advertised on Ovago

They immediately call you on your personal phone trying to upsell hotels or cars and follow up with texts. They don’t provide any way to check-in through their website and they list incorrect baggage information.

Awful Experience

We bought a ticket through this website and later changed it, paying an additional fee for the modification. However, we never received the new ticket. No one responded to us — not customer support, not anyone. In the end, we had to go to the airport and sort everything out in person. We were told that the ticket they had sold us did not actually exist and that we had to travel using the original ticket we had purchased. Terrible service, no customer support, and no response to customer inquiries. I would not recommend this website at all.

We made reservations to Japan with Ovago

I made reservations to Japan with them and they did not select seats for us on the connecting airline. Subsequently we needed to make changes to the itinerary and the response varied between slow and random to just not responding. I ended up demanding a credit (which I'm still waiting for) & making the return reservation myself. Stay away. Not worth the trouble.

Overcharge $600

Overcharge $600, refusing to refund the original overcharged total amount, only one person assigned to my booking and I was not allowed to talk with anyone else, even though I couldn't understand what that person was saying and asked to please talk to someone else, that was an impossible request. Stay away from Ovago!!

Avoid at ALL COSTS. TERRIBLE. Absolutely terrible experience with OVAGO and one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had booking travel. I booked and completed checkout for an Alaska Airlines flight from San Diego to Reno on 5/14/2026. During checkout, OVAGO explicitly stated that if the reservation could not be confirmed, I would be notified within ONE HOUR. That never happened. Instead, I received no actual notification until approximately 4:10 AM the NEXT DAY on 5/15/2026 informing me that the fare had increased and my booking was not ticketed. By that point, prices had jumped significantly because the trip had moved inside the 21 day travel pricing window. The worst part? The exact same flight was still available. OVAGO simply failed to process and notify me in the timeframe they represented during checkout. I spent OVER 6 HOURS on phone calls across multiple days (5/15, 5/16, and 5/17) trying to resolve this issue. I was bounced between agents, repeatedly told the case was “escalated,” and promised callbacks that never came. One representative even claimed they “contacted me,” despite never leaving a voicemail, email, or any actual successful communication before the next day’s automated notice. No accountability. No meaningful resolution. No supervisor follow through. No ownership of the issue. OVAGO admitted in writing that: - there was a delay - the fare increased after submission - the case had been escalated internally Yet after all of this, the only “resolution” initially offered was a minimal $50 credit while ticket prices continued climbing to nearly $289 for the same itinerary. This company’s booking and customer service process is incredibly concerning. If you use OVAGO, understand that completing checkout DOES NOT mean your ticket is actually secured, and if something goes wrong, you may not find out until prices have already surged. Consumers should be extremely cautious booking through this platform. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend booking directly with the airline instead. Order number: 139535886

Smooth Sailing (er, Flying)

I was nervous about Ovago after reading some mixed reviews, but my experience was fantastic, smooth and affordable with great customer service! To clarify, I am not a bot and am, in fact, a human traveler. If you're nervous about booking via Ovago, just know it runs a bit like an old school travel agency but is 100 percent legit. One nice perk is you get a concierge type experience with a travel agent assigned to your trip. They will call you and help out with anything you need. Debby was absolutely the best! She secured a great deal on seats (I double checked against the airline's website and her deal was cheaper) and was so kind and helpful. She really went above and beyond and deserves all the stars! Thanks a bunch! I'll definitely use Ovago again.
