Nightmare on Ovago
Absolute nightmare experience with Ovago. I booked a trip from the US to Spain for $1,472.60. The airline ended up canceling the flight, which should have been straightforward to fix. Instead, I spent an entire weekend trapped in a loop with their customer service. They sound friendly enough on the phone, but it's a calculated stall tactic. They explicitly hung up on me, ignored my emails, and blew off scheduled callbacks. Their 'solution' was to rebook me out of an airport 827 miles away and leave a day late! When I demanded a refund, they dragged their feet so long I'm convinced they were trying to run out the clock on their refund policy window. I caught it in time, but they still shortchanged me by $91. Avoid this platform at all costs; they will leave you stranded right before your departure.

Ticket was booked successfully but later asked to pay more
Ticket was booked successfully. Received email stating some update on itinerary. When I clicked update it asked to proceed with booking and payment was different ,almost 200 dollar more.
Ovago contacted me afterwards asked for booking details. I provided derail. Customer care agent said they will call me to discuss. As of 5/30/26 have not received any call.

Absolutely crushed
Booked my flight yesterday night through google flights, received confirmation for everything; so far so good.... Today I decide to call the ACTUAL airlines for confirmation and they said my flight was cancelled and a refund was pending.... only to a different cardholder (Alaska Airlines stated they red flagged the transaction due to fraudulent activity on the behalf of Ovago)..
Ovago seems to assure me that I'll receive a full refund within 3-7 business days.
THANK YOU OVAGO FOR ABSOLUTELY DESTROYING THE ONE WEEK I GET TO TAKE OFF FROM WORK IN THE ENTIRE YEAR.
Even if I do get a refund, the tickets for those dates are now sold out and have nearly doubled in price! No vacation for me!
I can't believe this has happened; I've been up for days over this, completely regretting everything. I've looked forward to this trip day after day,this entire year.. I've saved every single dollar to make this vacation happen, and you guys completely DESTROYED IT!

Paid $3000 for flights to Baltics that included seat selection. Was able to select seats on Alaska Airlines without issue however Finnair is charging me $100 per leg. Ovago is stonewalling me. travel agency that does manual bookings lol
This is a old-school travel agency that everything has to be done on the phone, no option to see seats online or layout of the plane. All seats needed to be paid extra regardless if it's middle, aisle or window. Then kept hardselling on flight insurance and making me sound like it's my first time to fly outbound overseas. Agent has very thick indian accent and difficult to understand. AVOID AT ALL COST. google flight partnered with this company I should have known better not to trust google flight on my next trip.
