Customer Review – HSBC Case Ref: CMS 1051136 I was scammed out of thousands of ringgit, and it took me over a year to recover just 70% of the stolen amount. The handling of my case by HSBC and its managers was deeply disappointing and unacceptable. Despite numerous complaints and follow-ups, the lack of urgency, empathy, and accountability from the team made the entire experience extremely stressful and frustrating. However, I want to sincerely thank Cynthia, the only manager who truly stepped up. She took the time to understand my situation, respected my rights as a customer, and showed genuine care and professionalism throughout the process. Her dedication made a real difference, and I believe she absolutely deserves a promotion for her outstanding service. Thanks to Cynthia, my case is now closed. Starting today, I will reactivate my HSBC card after more than a year of not using it due to this incident. I hope HSBC takes this feedback seriously and ensures that more of its staff follow Cynthia’s example in handling customer issues with empathy and efficiency.
