Full Version of Software Does Not Perform as Advertised
1. I had a simple recover need - an SD card for a camera had been formatted after taking photos and videos, but not used after that (no overwriting). This means the files should still be there, but the SD card space was available to be overwritten in the futre. After a trial recovery it said I needed to pay for an upgrade to recover the actual files, so I paid for a year based on positive reviews. Using the full version, no photos or videos were found. Only data files. A waste of money, and a possible compromise to the safety of my HD data. 2. I called the support line and they wanted to remote in to my computer to have an engineer troubleshoot - but I would need to allow them to download software for this to occur - very sketchy given the product performance thus far. 3. While working to uninstall the software the Easeus uninstall tool would not allow an uninstall. The Windows uninstall tool said it successfully uninstalled the software, but I have my doubts. This is all very troubling. I am working with my bank to nullify the transaction if possible, and will have to figure our what latent files were left on my HD (if any) to mine my personal data.
