Warranty refusal on defective T100 — FTC complaint filed
I purchased a Creative T100 speaker on January 2, 2025 for $116.59. Within 4 months it completely lost power with no misuse or physical damage whatsoever. Creative Labs approved my RMA (RMAUS26L100265) but is demanding I pay return shipping out of pocket for THEIR manufacturer defect. This violates the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Despite multiple emails and live chat contacts, their only response is "we will update you via email" — for days with zero resolution. I have now filed an FTC complaint (Report #200894994) and a BBB complaint. I am warning anyone considering Creative Labs products — if something goes wrong, their warranty support is a complete runaround designed to make you give up. Buy from a brand that actually stands behind their products.
