The app itself is phenomenal
The app itself is phenomenal. It needs a few tweaks to be next level, but for any beginner to intermediate charting a course, particularly after starting a GLP adventure like I did, it is truly life changing if you commit to it. The exercises are abundant to keep it fresh each time. With any app you must take the time to set it up for your abilities and goals and equipment on hand or it will frustrate you swapping things out constantly. That’s not the apps fault, that’s yours! After a month of regular use you will see serious results. After 3 you will be “wow I’m doing this” and moving your goals up. After a year you will be begging them to add the decline bench press and a space for seat settings-bonus your Facebook/Insta feed will be half fitness things instead of toxic crap and you might even be in the best shape of your life at 51 with abs. Things that will annoy you though: The body scans will disappoint you, cuz the tone, and numbers are a little harsh for us non-gym folk but use it to measure change and motivate you. The team part doesn’t work, but it’s a personal journey anyway. If you start a challenge mid month it doesn’t give you credit for what you’ve already logged either which makes zero sense. The trainers and exercises are what we there for though. It’s intuitive and above average. No app is perfect. This will get you off the couch and on your way to your new best self. Give it a shot. It’s affordable too. Been on it 2 years. I’ve gone from a 309lb couch potato to a 6-day a week gym rat muscle dad who can crack walnuts in places I used to lose the remote. Results may vary. Make sure what ever you do is for YOU though. Comparison is the thief of joy. Good luck to you on your fitness journey.
