Overall pretty good
Overall, the process of creating our trust through Trust & Will was fairly straightforward, and the interface is generally easy to understand and navigate. Most of the steps were intuitive, and the platform did a good job of guiding us through. . The most confusing and somewhat frustrating part was figuring out how to go about transferring our real estate into the trust. Based on the information provided, it appeared that we needed to engage an attorney to assist with the quitclaim deed process, so we paid the additional $299 for attorney support. Unfortunately, after speaking with the attorney, we were told that Trust & Will actually offers a separate service specifically for handling this and that we should use that instead. In hindsight, we should have paid for that service instead of the attorney support, as the attorney did not assist us with the deed transfer process at all. Perhaps we missed this somewhere on the website, but clearer guidance about how to go about this would have saved us time and money.
