Disadvantages to virtual purchase
I love the center stone I chose for my ring. The setting is nice, but you have to double and triple check that it is exactly what you want. I chose a setting that feels too thick and heavy for my lean fingers. I asked if I could reset the stones on a different setting ($11.00 price difference from what I originally purchased), which would cost thousands and almost as much as buying a new setting. Now, I have to find a jeweler to either fix the setting I chose or live with it. The ring is great, but there are disadvantages to not being able to look at, try it on, and make all final approvals before you make the final purchase. If you make a mistake, you are stuck with it.
