Refund received, but pricing transparency needs improvement
⚠️ Be careful — this is not the official Portuguese railway (CP). Update (10/18/2025): Rail Ninja has since refunded the extra service charge after I contacted their support team. I appreciate their quick reply and willingness to resolve the issue, and changing my experience rating to 3 stars. That said, travelers should still be aware that prices on this website can be significantly higher than on the official CP site. In my case, I paid USD 260 for two Porto–Faro tickets, while the printed ticket price was €117.20 (~USD 125). Tickets were valid, but the markup was not clearly disclosed. I’ve reported the issue to ASAE (the Portuguese regulator) and Google Ads for misleading advertising. Glad it was resolved, but I still recommend booking directly through CP whenever possible.
