Beware of Behind-the-Scenes Policy Changes!
I've used Mail.com’s email service with both paid and free accounts for several years, and without any notice, the forwarding stopped working. When I asked customer service what happened, I got months (literally) of run-around (including trying to imply that it was somehow MY fault, and lots of other blame games) before they finally admitted it was a deliberate change for the forwarding feature to only work for the paid accounts — with no announcement, no option to review and approve any updated Terms of Service, and clearly designed to push users into paid accounts (which have become WAY more expensive over the years). This is deceptive and unfair, and they refuse to do anything about it. Customers deserve transparency, not behind-the-scenes policy changes and evasive (to put it kindly) support. I would caution anyone considering Mail.com to be aware of these practices.
