I think it might actually be a scam
I think it might actually be a scam. I thought the phone call was weird, I've booked flights before but I never got a confirmation phone call before for a flight before at least not with the sites i use, this time i was looking for cheaper options and decided to try a different site i wasn't familiar with that has an option to compare prices, and it lead me to this one that had a very cheap option, I regret doing it. I got an email, then the call, and I was reading along as they spoke on the phone going over the policy with me. As soon as I heard from the person on the line say that I couldn't take anything with me, not even a backpack, alarm bells went off. Never in my life have I ever heard of a policy that forbids people from having bags or carry-ons on a plane(discount or not), and never have I heard of a policy that removes the option to pay extra to get a suitcase on the plane-these airlines will always take your money, even if overbooked for which they will apologize later and try to make it right-but will still take your money. Then when I looked back at the stuff I noted that the itinerary number was missing which is always together with the confirmation number, and when i re-read the bag policy it contradicts what they told me over the phone. Look, if you are looking here and wondering if you should risk it for a REALLY good price, I'd say skip this and stick to either the airlines themselves or a site you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you can trust, maybe see if you can book those routes yourself through the airlines. If you are looking here because you are worried that you got scammed: play it safe and lock the card as fast as you can, hopefully before the payment is processed, speak with your bank, lawyer or legal representative or someone adultier than you, and the airlines, to figure out a solution-do not wait, get this resolved.
