Beware of auto-renewal scam
In 2023 I signed up for 1 year website and domain subscription. I didn’t like the website so I canceled after 1 year. They scammed me and told me I hadn’t turned off auto renewal. Stupidly I trusted them and thought it was my mistake so I didn’t dispute the charge. But I had Oscar from their leadership team confirm to me (I have screenshots) that my auto renewal was off for my entire account. I also received emails confirming that auto renewal was off and that my subscriptions would expire at the end of November 2025. Then last night I got 2 emails thanking me for renewing and an invoice for 2 more years!!! I didn’t renew AND I made sure I wasn’t set up to auto renew! I’ve been talking with their support for 15 hours and they are trying to tell me it’s too late. I will update if they refund me but considering this is the SECOND time I’ve been scammed by them I need to post. I’ve paid over $900 to this company over 2 years! You think they would appreciate that and treat me fairly. Update: they refunded me after I posted this review. If they scam you, they will tell you that it can’t be refunded no matter what. Then after your post an honest review they refund it immediately. My advice if they try scam you: 1) take screenshots of your chat messages with support 2) tell support you are going to dispute the charge 3) post a review about the experience After this, they should refund you.
