I used compare-health-insurance.com, which is owned by QuoteWizard, to check health insurance prices. Within a couple of hours, I received more than 30 calls from different sales agents. I had no idea my information would be shared that widely, and the site didn’t make that clear before asking for my phone number. Consumers should know that this site doesn’t actually give you quotes — it collects your data and pushes it out to many brokers. If you value your privacy or want to avoid aggressive sales calls, be careful using any QuoteWizard-owned lead-gen sites.
