I more safe riding my e-bike especially when I’m is a mixed use area. By that I mean areas where biking, walking and vehicular traffic is forced together like intersections and areas where a trail ends and you end up separated from traffic by a white line. An inattentive or impatient drive could cause harm. I have the Lumos and firefly lights offering lights on my helmet and bike with synchronized flashing lights.
