Good overall experience, much room for improvement
I purchased a secondhand iPhone from CompAsia in mid September and unfortunately within a few days the screen went green and foggy. The process of sending it in for a warranty claim and repair was fairly straightforward with prompt and clear communication from CompAsia. I received my phone back within a week and have been using it problem free ever since. Customer service was helpful throughout and I didn't pay any additional costs, however the phone screen not working the first time after I had transferred all my data did cause some inconvenience. I appreciate CompAsia's business model of refurbishing tech devices and believe it is better to buy and use second hand where possible, especially with tech considering the amount of waste that comes with device production. My dealings with them were smooth but from other reviews I would suggest the company improve their communication with customers and be more transparent about potential risks and wait times in terms of receiving devices and also repairing faulty ones. Especially if they want to retain their no refund policy, which is a high barrier of entry for many buyers especially if there are so many cases of devices needing repairs after purchase.
