TEACHEABLE SCAM PROMO & FRAUD BILLING-STAY AWAY FROM THEM
I was drawn in by a Teachable promotion offering 1 month free + 3 months bonus. After completing payment, my account was automatically placed on the Growth Plan, even though I signed up for the Standard Plan. The following month, I was billed USD 89 for the Growth Plan. I immediately downgraded to the Standard Plan at USD 29/month. The amount was successfully deducted from my debit card, yet Teachable claims the payment was declined. As a result, I’ve lost access to my account despite being charged. This experience has been extremely frustrating. The promotion felt misleading, and the billing and access issues have not been handled transparently. Teachable appears efficient at collecting payments but slow and unresponsive when it comes to resolving errors and delivering what was paid for. I’m sharing this as a caution to others—STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
