Phenomenal fruitcake. Customer service stinks.
The fruitcake is stellar, as always. The customer service, severely lacking. In the emails between myself and Lane Yard about shipping - January 2/3... he/she (can't tell gender by the name) was curt and condescending, with questionable accuracy of information, which was void of the most important info - that Beatrice Bakery was closed for the holidays, so nothing was shipped that week. I got that info from a nice young woman I spoke to the following week. That, plus the email solicitation asking for me to review Grandma's Bake Shop contained a bad link. So I had to respond to that email with a request for a working link. If it weren't for the high quality of the fruitcake, this review would have been 1 star... thanks to the experience I had with Lane Yard and my overall customer service experience.
