Total Scam! Don’t use this company!
I paid for a 3-month premium bourbon subscription for my dad for Christmas. On Christmas he opened the gift got the explanation of what it was and went to the computer to redeem his gift. Seemed pretty happy about it. Turns out, if you’re not careful they can take away the subscription and make it a gift card. He put the code in that was given to him and somehow it was used as a gift card. I sent an email out and was told basically too bad, he put it in wrong and now there’s nothing that can be done. To add on to that, when signing up you have to use a credit card, which is fine. But they automatically enroll you in a $40 program that doesn’t even give you anything. BE VERY CAREFUL AND READ THE TERMS OF SERVICE. if you don’t they will continually charge you. I asked for a refund on the remainder of the balance and again was told no. So I told my dad to use the last of the money as a gift card since we weren’t getting anything back. At that point it would have made more sense to take the left over money and buy him a nice bottle from somewhere close by with way better prices. After we bought a bottle I got an email saying that now they will refund 23.16 that’s left and they hope they can make it right. I honestly laughed when they said that. In what world would someone give these guy more money to see if they’d just do the same thing. This company is a joke.
