It Works Wonders—But The Cost!
I have used Plexaderm for several years. I am 61 and have always rubbed my eyes, even as a teenager, so I have horrible bags under my eyes. Plexaderm works wonderfully for me. I mix a tiny amount of my foundation with it in my palm then apply to each eye separately. I do this for two reasons: Plexaderm begins to dry quickly so if I try to do both eyes at the same time the second eye will be flaky; and I’ve learned the right amount for each eye is different so they must be done individually. I also used Plexaderm on the wrinkles forming around one side of my mouth. It works wonderfully there also and does not crack during the day. For me, there are two keys to getting all day wear without flaking: trial and error to determine the amount needed for each eye and mouth area because they are different for me; and taking the 7-10 minutes that Plexaderm needs to set before doing anything else. Yes, my husband says I look strange standing there staring into the mirror without moving my eyes or mouth, but whatever. My only problem with Plexaderm is the cost. I cannot afford to use it when I know I will be home all day or when I am going out to visit with family or close friends. The cost is just too prohibitive.
