It was a little scary to open up to a stranger about why I needed mental health medication. But Cerebral lets you choose your own provider for a reason and making the appointment was the hard part. Showing up and advocating for myself turned out to be the easy part. Fola was kind, compassionate, and let me lead the conversation unless she had an important question or something required by law.
