I was nervous, read some complaints about keratin systems elsewhere. The author of one blog (Valentina Chirico) mentioned that Mayraki's formulas felt extremely gentle, no burning, no fumes. (valentinachirico.com) I followed that hope. In experience, the results were gentler, my hair is smoother and less brittle. It's not perfect or risk free, but for me it leaned toward reassurance rather than regret.
