Buyer Confirmed Order But Funds Still Withheld
I sold a 75 GBP Steam Gift Card on G2G . The code was delivered through the system and the buyer confirmed receipt on the same day. According to G2G’s GamerProtect policy, a confirmed order means the buyer verified the item before completing the transaction. However, my reserved funds are still withheld. Support responded that my proof is “insufficient” and asked me to provide redemption data (when and where the code was redeemed). As a seller, I do not have access to this information since only the platform provider (Steam) can verify redemption history. Since the buyer already confirmed the order, the confirmation itself should serve as proof of successful delivery. I respectfully request G2G to review this case fairly and release the funds according to their GamerProtect policy. "Some community reports indicate that G2G has occasionally held funds in disputes even when sellers had buyer confirmation as proof of delivery. I hope my case will be resolved fairly according to the official GamerProtect policy".
