BEWARE: Deceptive UI / $251.88 Auto-Charge Trap & Zero Support I am writing this to warn everyone about SeaArt.ai's highly deceptive billing practices (Dark Patterns).
On March 18, 2026, I signed up for a 3-day trial. While standard platforms default to a monthly renewal, SeaArt's interface is intentionally misleading. On March 21, without any explicit final confirmation step or clear warning, they auto-charged my Visa card a massive $251.88 for an annual subscription. I contacted their support within hours. I made it absolutely clear that I HAVE NOT used any SVIP features, generated any images, or consumed any credits since this charge occurred. It was a genuine mistake caused by their hidden cancellation UI. Instead of reviewing my account activity and doing the right thing, their customer service just copy-pasted their "No Refund" policy template. They completely ignore the fact that they are charging for a service that hasn't been rendered. This is unacceptable. I have already filed a formal Chargeback dispute with my bank (Visa) for "Services not rendered and misleading billing".
