Do not use the Interactive Brokers Platform
I am a brand new customer and this is the worst brokerage platform I have ever seen. I have accounts with Fidelity and Etrade and have never experienced issues like this such as being charged a $15 commission for putting money into a Money Market and only being able to trade in blocks of $10,000. When asked for a courtesy refund of a commission as a new client, I was told that was never done under any circumstances.
