EXCELLENT STAFF AT MAHON POINT
Getting over-65 deliveries for 10 years. Out of 1000s of items maybe 3 mistakes. This is an astonishing achievement. Of course the majority of Tesco stock is rubbish, and some is disgusting, like every chain, but that is not the local staff’s fault, and I try not to buy it. I have time to check ingredients online, which is difficult in-store, deliberately obscure. Marketing 101: Half your customers are stupid, a quarter cannot read well anyway, and probably 90% of shoppers are swayed by emotion not logic. (See Politics 101.) I don’t mind the horse-meat: it’s the additives and the palm oil, the added sugar and water that offend. Also plastic clothes.
