Rail Ninja

Rail.Ninja an unmitigated scam

I was misled into ordering my Portuguese Railway tickets on Rail.Ninja instead of the company's actual web site. A pair of tickets from Porto to Faro that normally sells for 83 euros each (actually 41.50 in my case because I am a senior citizen). Rail Ninja charged me an astonishing 360 USD for these tickets. When I discovered (within 5 minutes) what had happened I cancelled the booking and they refunded me 90% of my money, withholding a "service" charge of 36.00 USD which I am fighting via my bank. This company is a scam (based in Malta and Hong Kong, wouldn't you know) that adds no value whatsoever and charges outrageous markups for tickets that are readily available on the railway website, if you can get to it without being hijacked.
