Asking customer to break the law
Upon trying to return the machine while having the warranty on it, they asked me to commit fraud by lying to customs that the package is worth $20 rather than $300. I told them I could not do that as that's breaking the law and I could face some serious fines or trouble. They proceeded to say they do all the time themselves so it was fine. No, I don't think commiting fraud against the government is fine. *Edit* "If the parcel is returned with the original declared value, there may be customs duties, taxes, or handling fees involved during the return process." Look at them still asking for me to break the law. Absurd. If you have another solution I'd like to hear it because the batteries aren't working and I purchased the warranty.
