I have purchased twice from this…
I have purchased twice from this company. First I purchased two gowns for my daughter’s graduation. I used Klarna to make my purchase. Klarna doesn’t register your debt until the supplier excepts the transaction. This is what Klarna explained to me the first time as JJ’s house wrote to me to say their third party payment provider had notified them that my transaction looked suspicious to them, and therefore they cancelled my order. Except they didn’t cancel my order with Klarna. It was a nightmare trying to prove to Klarna that JJ’s house had cancelled, as JJ’s house didn’t supply any transaction receipts to back their claim they had canceled. After a few frantic weeks, I finally got the transaction cancelled. My daughter was devastated as the dress she wanted was that from JJ’s. I gave it a go again, and everything went through without a hitch…. Except…. I had payed for adjustments. One dress fit perfect, I mean, made to fit! The 2nd dress… well not even close. It was like they hadn’t even tried. Not even close. We’ve had to go pay again for more alterations, but it won’t be perfect… as this dress wasn’t even close to being made to fit. Now my daughter comes and says she’s found the perfect shoe for her dress. Guess what? JJ’s house again. Ok… made a purchase, day later the debt goes through with Klarna. (This means JJ’s house accepts the transaction). Again a few hours later I get a mail from JJ’s house, we have cancelled your order as your payment is flagged as suspicious. Again they haven’t notified the payment provider of this. Klarna is the biggest payment provider we have here in Sweden. Fully trusted, you can pay after you receive the goods, make a dispute if you need to. It doesn’t cost extra like PayPal. For JJ’s house to claim that Klarna is suspicious…. Well I’m going to let Klarna answer to that. Maybe JJ’s house is in fact the only party acting suspicious here. Ok, so you’re wondering should I purchase from JJ’s house…. After all, all these good reviews. 1. Well as I found out the first time round… the product is local, regardless of what the website makes you feel. 2. As I found out the first time round, JJ’s house won’t help you out if you have an issue, like providing evidence an order was cancelled or even notifying the payment provider. 3. 50/50 chance you’ll get something that fits, even if two items are sent with the exact same measurements. 4. As I found out the first and 2nd time round, your payment will be flagged as suspicious and you’ll be spending days trying to prove this to payment provider. 5. This isn’t random. This isn’t a rant from one purchase. This happened twice in exactly the same manner. The dress I was happy about? Ok, it’s ok. It’s only going to be used once. So it will do the job.
