Lazy Drivers Cannot Find the Correct Address
DoorDash in Arlington just cannot get a delivery address correct. We live at a 4705 address and there is another 4705 address on a nearby street. The Dashers ALWAYS, without fail, deliver our food to the wrong 4705, even though the street name is not even vaguely similar to ours. We even tried to ask for in-person delivery, which requires a code, but the Dasher went ahead and delivered to the porch of the wrong address , apparently without waiting for the homeowner to give them a code. Uber Eats and Instacart have no problem finding the correct address, but apparently the Door Dash folks are too lazy and disinterested to do a good job. A reputable company would refund the delivery fee and better train their drivers, but we are not holding our breath. If you have a choice, NEVER use Door Dash for anything - ever.
