Best deal, albeit after a bidding-down process with a rival company. With a rock-bottom margin reached and agreed, the process was easy and honest, aided by Kevin Perterson. Unfortunately, outside of Omaha's own work: (1) The appraisal was unrealistically low, owing to an insistence on comps that were recent but not directly comparable--but I understand that I can cheaply update the appraisal in the event of truly similar sale in the future. (2) The notary failed to provide me with proper copies, providing me with neither the required Notice of Right to Cancel nor the Truth-in-Lending Closing Disclosure, among other omissions.
