NBKC Bank

Title: Business Startup Delayed by Account Restrictions and Lack of Access to Funds

I opened a business account with nbkc Bank while trying to launch my small business as a disabled single mother, and my experience has been extremely stressful. Initially, two transfers were denied because I was told my mother was not listed as a signer. After adding her, I was then told she still was not recognized as one. This delay alone caused several of my bills to fall behind. We then deposited a check, but even after explaining the urgency of the situation and the financial harm the delays were causing, the bank refused to release any portion of the funds early despite having the ability to do so. By the time the check finally cleared, multiple bills were already late. After expressing my frustration to a representative and mentioning that I would likely move my business elsewhere in the future, my debit card was canceled and blocked without my request or authorization. This left me unable to access my own money while trying to keep my business operational. I then attempted to transfer my funds to an external bank account, only to discover I still could not transfer out my own money. At this point, my business website and services are at risk because I cannot pay the bills tied to them. I understand banks have policies and fraud protections, but the lack of communication, flexibility, and access to my own funds during a critical business startup period has been devastating.
