Teleflora

I arranged flower delivery from…

I arranged flower delivery from Teleflora for Mother’s Day (5 days before Mother’s Day), and the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. At 12:35 PM on Mother’s Day, I received 3 phone calls and 2 text messages from two different numbers saying they had run out of the arrangement I originally ordered. They told me that if I wanted the same flowers, they could deliver them the next day, but if I still wanted same-day delivery, they could replace them with a “premium” rose arrangement that supposedly cost almost twice as much — at no additional charge. Since it was Mother’s Day and timing mattered, I agreed to the replacement. After that, communication became terrible. At 3:45 PM I followed up because there was still no delivery, and they just kept saying they were busy and backed up with orders. I checked again around 4:45 PM and still got no real update. At 5:30 PM, frustrated and assuming it wasn’t coming, I requested cancellation. Ironically, the flowers were finally delivered shortly after — but they forgot the card message completely, and the arrangement looked nowhere near the “premium” arrangement shown on their website. What upset me the most was the follow-up email from customer service. In response to my cancellation request, they claimed they had confirmation the flowers were delivered and signed for at 1:00 PM — which makes absolutely no sense because I was still actively speaking with the flower shop around 1:00 PM about replacing the arrangement in the first place. The entire experience felt disorganized and unprofessional, especially for such an important occasion. Mistakes can happen, especially on busy holidays, but the lack of honesty, communication, and apology was the most disappointing part.
