Expectations
Overall, it has been a good experience, though the learning curve has been significant. When I started using Blotato, I expected it to be a strong tool for helping create social media content, not just distribute it. So far, that has not been the case. At this point, I am mainly using Blotato to post social content across my different social media accounts. While that function is useful, I am not yet saving meaningful time in my overall workflow. It currently feels more like a publishing tool than a true content creation system. The biggest challenge has been moving from an idea to finished, polished content. Syncing Blotato with Claude requires more alignment than I expected, and creating scalable, high-quality video content has been especially difficult. I have paused my video efforts for now because the output quality has not been where it needs to be, and I am not clear on how to use Blotato to improve or up-level the final result. For Blotato to become more valuable to me, I would need more structured templates, sample workflows, and clear starting points — especially for short-form video, social campaigns, and brand-consistent content. Right now, I am spending too much time trying to figure out how to use the platform instead of saving time. I see the potential in Blotato, but at this stage it has not yet delivered on the content creation side the way I expected. Stronger templates, clearer workflows, and better guidance around video quality would make the platform much more effective. Best regards, Joe
